x-post-Making Salads-??

I would like to make macaroni salad and pasta salad Friday night for my BBQ on Saturday. I wondered if there was a secret to not having the pasta stick together after putting it in the fridge for awhile.

Thanks :)

Are you dressing it prior to putting it in the refrigerator?

Maybe you're not putting enough dressing?

That would cause it to dry out a little which in turn could make the pasta stick together.

Exactly, keep in mind that the dressing is absorbed by the pasta as well.

Also, make sure the pasta is cooled completely. Warm pasta soaks up more sauce.

When you're making the pasta, add a few tablespoons of olive oil to the water. I always do this bc I hate sticky pasta and it works.
