Re: X-Post Parenting...Quattro vs Metrolite Travel Strollers

I originally registered the Metrolite, alot of girls on here seem to love it...

when i took dh to the store- to "clear by him" the larger registry items and get his opinion he LOVED the Quattro new light blue pattern they have....

Alot of people online say how they hate the heaviness of the Quattro and it takes up alot of trunk space(important if you have a smaller car)..

but i figure we'll be using the carseat carrier with the Snap and Go frame- and the stroller when they are bigger so it wont be as bad...

we went to the store - tested how they all folded, weighed...

even though the metrolite was in fact, lighter...dave did NOT like the fold of it.

Re: X-Post Parenting...Quattro vs Metrolite Travel Strollers

I'm not getting either of these strollers but I tested them both out. The Quattro is quite heavy and when folded it would be hard to get into the trunk of a small car. Other then that, it has a pretty easy fold and wheels around quite nice. Other things I have heard that people like is the fact that the seat reclines all the way down and it has a lot of storage space in the basket area.

The Metrolite is nice looking, fits the graco car seats, and it much lighter then the Quattro. I wasn't crazy about this one when I wheeled it around the store. I don't think it was as nicley made as the Quattro. This could of just been the one I tried out. Also, the seat doesn't recline down all the way. I know that is important to some. I didn't fold it up, so I can't comment on it.
