Click!

I ordered a hot buffet from an Italian restaurant for 25 people which includes:

Salad
Fried Calamari
Penne Vodka
Veal Scallopini
Chicken Parm
Eggplant Rollatini

I got 40 cupcakes for dessert. I think I am also getting a cookie tray.

I have a full bar/beer and soft drinks/water.

Do I really need a fruit salad or cheese platter?

What do you think?

I always do a few little appetizers, like a cheese tray, veggie plate etc, but its certainly not required. I think the dinner sounds great---just maybe some rolls/bread to go with. For dessert, I would pick fruit over cookies, but thats me, I am not a sweets person!

I think it sounds perfect! The only thing I would add would be a fruit salad. I'm having DS Baptism next week and for desert we are having, cake, cookies and fruit salad. Some people can't have sweets, so a fruit salad is always good to have.
I wasn't sure about having a cheese platter either. I don't think you really need one. Maybe you can put out some chips instead. We are doing a cheese platter and a few others things, but I'm having about 90 people.

I think I will do a fruit salad. I think people like to have a "refresher."
