Re: xpost: travelling with 4 month old to caribbean???
DH is 4.5 months, and I really cant imagine doing that with him now, and he is generally a good baby. It wouldnt be fun for me to go and have to be in the room being quiet from his bedtime at 7, and he'd have a hard time behaving for long served meals, and mostly all we did at all inclusives was eat and sit on the beach.

We went to Mexico when DS was 6mths, Florida at 4 & 7mth, Germany & Iceland at 12mth, and Turks and Caicos at 15mths....worth it!
When DS was younger, it was of course much easier b/c he slept the whole flight...but wasn't that difficult..totally doable..you just have to plan and have the right equipment

Re: xpost: travelling with 4 month old to caribbean???
We are planning on possible going to the Dominican Republic this winter... dd will be closer to 6 or 7 months by then... But DD is 3.5 months now and I wouldn't have a problem travelling with her at the age she is now. We took her to Hilton Head Island for a week when she was 7 weeks. The packing was a pain for the trips but I find that places where you are just going to sit on a beach and relax are easy to take a baby
