Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
We are going to Key West at the ned of Oct for a destination wedding. We are flying in to Ft. Lauderdale and driving to Key West. We are staying in a condo and there is no option to rent a crib, so I don't know where DS is going to sleep. I don't want to lug the pack and play with us. Any other ideas? Maybe something I can buy when I get down to florida? I saw this online, so we could put him on the bed, not sure of the size limit

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
There are no places that rent cribs near there?
when we go to FL we have a place that rents cribs and they come and set up and take them away...
ETA: the thing you posted looks like it would be small for a 5 1/2 month old, I guess depends on his size...

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
I don't know - might be worth bringing a travel PNP. Ryan is 5.5 months and there is no way he would stay put in something that little - he's been rolling around since 13wks and that seems restrictive for roley poleys.

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
We have that snuggle nest and it would be uncomfortable for a 5 month old. It might be worth bringing the PNP.

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
I agree with the PP. That looks like it would be too small for a 5 month old.
We went away last weekend and had the mini PNP and DS (4 1/2 mos and 16lbs) was up all night because he was moving around and hitting the edges of the PNP.
I think you're better off bringing the PNP.

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
when we traveled with Aly at 3.5 months, the hotel had a crib that I did NOT feel safe putting her in. She slept in the bed in between us.

Re: Travelling with 5 month old... sleeping question
he is already very big - almost 17 lbs at 3 months and 26 in. I will look into those crib rental places. Thanks!
