I think that I like the dress, but I don't know if I'd pay that much for it.
Anthropologie is a crazy place - I generally love what they carry even if it doesn't look good on me, but when I get in the store and see/touch the material, I'm blown away that the prices are so high for certain pieces.

I agree - It's worth the money if you will wear it a lot.
I also cringe at their prices, but I have to say anything I do own from anthro I wear a TON and it holds up (style wise and quality wise) for a long time.

I've never bought clothes from them and I've never been in the store so I'm clueless about their stuff.

i really love that dress! the price doesn't seem that exhorbitant to me - i don't spend a lot of $$ on clothes but i am so picky with dresses, i would definitely spend that much on something i would wear all the time!!
seriously i think you should get it! think of it this way - if you wore it 10 times in one year that would be like $16 per wear!

Yay for the dress - I LOVE it (although that color would look awful on me - does it come in another color b/c I want it !!  )
As for the price, if you're going to get use out of it, I think it's worth it -
Think of all of those $25 bargains in your closet you bought JUST b/c it was on sale that you've prpbably never worn .........(or am I the only one who has this disease??)

totally worth it! It seems like a style you could dress up or down and wear in any season (depending on the material). I think its great and could be a great staple.

If you think that you will wear it a ton, buy the dress. I have bought a few dresses from anthropologie, and I've worn them many many times. I have a dress that I've worn to weddings with pearls and heals, and then have worn it with a sweater to events like showers and christenings.
If you can make it work for many occasions than for sure buy it. But I also don't think the price is overly expensive. The quality of my anthropologie clothes has always been great! I don't mind paying for quality.

ITA. If the dress fits perfectly and you will wear it, then buy it.
