yeast diaper rash
DD has had a diaper rash for about 1.5-2 weeks. started out as a bit red, now a full blown rash. she is 21 months. not complaining about it. i spoke ot ped on thursday, he said from description sounds liek yeast, try lotrimin. so i've been using lotrimin since thursday night, no real improvement. 2 days of it. would you give it another couple of days before taking her in? DH can take her tomorrow, or i can take her on Tue. I already tried- triple paste, a&d, balmex, and shes gettign a lot of naked time. other advice?

Re: yeast diaper rash
give her a couple of more days. A yeast rash takes about a week to clear up if its bad. My DD has a really bad one right now and she has a prescription anti-fungal and the ped. told me it will take about a week to clear up. Are you covering the cream with a layer of triple paste?? Try doing that so the anti-fungal stays on.

Re: yeast diaper rash
Clover gets them really bad and nothing clears them up but topical nystatin prescribed by the doctor. I'd take her in.
