Yes... my 6 month old got the H1N1 Vac

I'm so glad I did it...reading other posts about kids getting it.

Mason had his 6 month appt last Friday (he's one week shy of 6 months)

The Ped asked if we'd like to get it. She said that they have a lot and were waiting to get the vaccine without the mercury. Since DS is at daycare and the H1N1 is going around now I opted to get it. He had to get the shot since he's under 2. In 2 weeks he will get the seasonal flu vaccine.

Since Friday he's been 100% fine... also, my Ped said that they had all their children vaccinated with it so that made me feel better.

Another reason I'm glad he got vaccinated... Someone in my office came in and I heard has the swine flu. His boss asked him to leave and work from home. Don't come in if you're sick pple!

ugh, i agree about people staying home if you are sick! at my mommy and me group this week a girl was coughing her brains out.... UGH!

I agree with the staying home if you are sick....my husband had a person who has it at his job in the city plus I had a friend who her boss got the virus also. My son got the H1N1 shot Friday (perservative & mercury free) and I got the H1N1 today. I do feel alot better now that the two of us are vaccinated.

I'm dying to get my DD vaccinated she just turned 6 months today - but last I checked our ped is out of it. I worry b.c I have to take her to preschool to pick up my 2 year old and several times we go there is often a sick parent. Since we wait in a very small waiting area I'm waiting for her to catch something. I just hope I get it for her before someone gives it to her. I wish people would just stay home when they are sick.
