You know what the worst thing about packing for moving is?
Making decisions about whether to keep or toss stuff!  If I knew I wanted to keep it, I could pack these boxes much faster!!

someone on here posted tips on moving and getting rid of stuff....
as far as clothing im not sure... but i know stuff like kitchen utensils... put them in a box and only take one the ones you need as you need them... after a few months, whatever is left in the box and be tossed...

Oooooooooooh, that's a good idea. Although kitchen stuff I never feel the need to purge. I love all my stuff and use it!

im sure that idea could be used for anything really.... bathroom stuff, probably clothing, desk supplies... etc... right?

If it helps I didn't regret anything I tossed and now regret keeping things I didn't toss. If you didn't use it in the past year chances are you don't need it. I also have a giant box labeled garage sale which has items that may be eligible for the antiques road show by the time I have this garage sale.
