You get excited when a new episode of a Nick Jr show comes on b/c you're tired of the same old ones
you drive away from dropping off the kids at daycare and it's still on a kid's CD you're singing along too then realize you have no kids in the car so it's ok to put an "adult" station on

You find yourself sitting quietly in a dark room with a snack/coffee/lunch, hoping they don't find you for just a few more minutes so you can have a few moments of peace!
(Yes, I just admitted I hide from my kids on occasion. I am a sahm and its sometimes a matter of survival!)

you have the Rockaby baby Metallica cd STUCK in your cars cd player
You're on line at the supermarket with a sick child blowing snot bubbles and no tissue so you opt for your sleeve to wipe it and just fold over your sleeve to be washed when you get back home.  
you make it all the way to a store, your in-laws and work before realizing your shirt is on inside out.
You're on your way home from work and ALMOST there when you suddenly bust a U-turn..."OMG, I have to pick up the baby!!!" (thank god IL's are only the next town over)

When you can tell your child is about to cough up phlegm and instead of saying something that may scare her I encourage it, cheer it and ooh and ahh that she coughed it up (into my open hands) and say “Wow, GOOD job. Just look at all that yucky stuff, good job and getting it all out” all while nodding and acting like she just coughed up the most precious gem in the whole world. Then saying “Daddy! Come see all the junk AJ coughed up!” (also known as GET OVER HERE WITH PAPERTOWELS!). “Hurry before it goes away and messes up her bed!” While he handles her, I wash my hands out then come back “Ok kiddo, lets get some NEW clothes, ok” put a cool towel to her neck, wipe her face and get her dressed while hubby clears the sheets off (but won’t move them to the laundry cause they are gross and he’s afraid he’ll spill something). Put her back to bed, put the laundry in.
Once she’s asleep again you walk into your room and SHIVER … That is the most disgusting thing in the whole freaking world, what the HECK just flew out of her mouth and how can she have that much crap in her omg. I feel oozy! YUCK!
All while my hubby stares at me then start to laugh that I held out that long to say what I really felt.
You know you’re a toddler mom because you dread Parent Teacher Conferences more than your child does.
You know you’re a mom because you’ve actually googled how to get sand out of hair MORE than once! Because you’re hoping for some miracle solution.
You HATE glitter almost as much as you loved it as a kid
You can totally rock it with Phineas & Ferb and look forward to watching it more than they do. You own the DVD proudly.
