your own drs appt
What do you do with your DC when you have a drs appt? i can't count on my dh because his schedule is very erratic.

I try to do it during work when he's in daycare. I know this owuldn't work for everyone but luckily my job is very flexible.

I try and schedule for a day during the week when DH is off (he works Saturday so he's got a day off during the week instead) or I just take them, although now with two that's not happening!

I bring him! My OB's secretaries fight over who will hold him. I love those girls. I saw them pretty much daily the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy so I don't mind them watching him when I go in. I've gone a few times to my OB b/c my c-section incision got a little infected, and I go again in a week for my pap and discuss birth control options.

I take him with me. If DH happens to be home I leave him, but I schedule most of my appts during the week during the day, unless it's something I can't bring him to like a CT Scan or something. The dr's are usually not as packed that way!

When Patrick was small I took him. Now that I have 3 I try to arrange a day that my husband can stay with them or my sister.

I made my appointment for first thing in the morning. DH doesn't leave for work until 9:30 ish so he watched her while I went to the doctor. Then I came home and he went to work.
