your thoughts: East Meadow
Hi all!
Ok so house hunting part 2... I am now in search for homes again (previous deal fell through). FH and I saw a house in East Meadow. The home is located south of Hempstead Turnpike, just East of Merrick Avenue, and just north of Front Street. Anyone know anything about the area? I am from the South Shore so I am unfamiliar. The elementary school would be McVey. Thoughts much appreciated! thanks!

that is a great area - my grandmother lived there and my father grew up in that same area!
i think it's a wonderful neighborhood, not much has changed since then as far as i can see 
not sure about the school (my dad is over 50  ).
