Stinky instant pot?
I'm finding no matter how much I clean my instant pot, it still smells like what I cooked. Right now my whole pantry where I keep it smells like the beef I made the other day. Gross. Has anyone found a way to clean it so that it doesn't retain the smell?

Re: Stinky instant pot?
Are you sure it's not the silicone ring on the lid? Mine tends to hold the smell there and I end up replacing the ring every so often. I actually have one that I keep in a plastic bag and only use it for chili since the chili smell seems to cling to the ring the worst and I kept having to buy new rings because of it.

Oh maybe it is. I didn't know you could replace that. I actually didn't know that could come off. Maybe if I remove it and soak it?

I have this problem too. I've soaked and cleaned the ring separately but once the smell is in there I can never get it out.
I'm gross though and I just keep cooking in it lol. I don't notice any change in taste.

I’ve read that people have had success destinking the ring by putting it in the freezer over night. It didn’t work for me but it might work for you.
