Learning about the other side
I’m willing to follow a Republican leader on Twitter, in the news etc for 30 days.
Anyone willing to follow AOC on Twitter and Instagram and her official website (removing any potential fake news argument, listen to her directly).
We can regroup in 30 days and see what we’ve learned.
Who’s down?
Who should I follow on the Republican side?

I follow Adam Kinzinger who is a Republican. While I do not always agree with him on everything I appreciate that his is level headed, puts country before party and is willing to call out his own party as needed. He doesn't just fall in line like a sheep.

I will. Any other suggestions bother an AOC? I’d like some options not so far left.

But that’s the point. To listen to someone very different than your views. And I will say I was never an AOC fan but I started following her and I’m impressed.

Biden is a moderate. So I’d say we will all see what happens since it will make national news.
The point I’d like you to consider is: “is what AOC is saying is actually radical?”
Moderates tend to compromise to make progress and the practical side of me understands and supports this. But sometimes compromises end up maintaining the negative of both sides of the argument, and not reaping full rewards.
I’d assume the radical right are the libertarians and Ted Cruz types? It’s hard to listen to them but I’d really like to know if you think AOC is in that same category of extreme after actually listening to her. I’m open to your answer and genuinely curious.

AOC is considered "far left" because she's lived a life of service and knows we can do better by all.
Biden is basically a republican. A lot of people don’t understand why he was chosen above others as the democratic nominee because of his age, but it was because of his ability to reach across the aisle and compromise and his appeal to republicans who understand that. Unfortunately, the traditional republican party has been overrun by insane conspiracy theorists and I won't entertain listening to anyone who is so far gone they no longer live in reality.
