Bathroom remodel
Where do you get ideas? I want an idea of what I want in terms of style and look before talking to a contractor.

When we did our bathroom I used Houzz, I got so many awesome style ideas and ended up finding the perfect tile too!
ETA - Walk though tile stores too, they have mock bathrooms set up which gives you a good idea as to both style and types of tile that you might like. We checked out a bunch of showrooms. Consumers Kitchen and Bath is another good place to get ideas of what you like and don't like.

Looking at Houzz, Pintrest etc was ok for the very beginning stages, for me. To actually figure out what I wanted, I had to go to tile stores (a LOT of them lol) to really put ideas together and to really find what I wanted

Bathroom remodel
I am doing mine now. I went to floor and decor to look. Then went on Pinterest and then back to store and back and forth.
I ended up with black hexagon floor and white subway tile shower with black mini hexagon tile on shower pan. Still figuring out wall color.
Tile is being installed tomorrow

I read every home decor and bathroom publication I could find. Then used Pinterest. houzz and went all over the state of NJ to different tile places to see what things looked like in person.

Jeez I am hoping not.
I got most of my inspo from Pinterest. Our bathroom is about 10x10 and it cost about $10K including materials. We didn't move any plumbing though just gutted to studs and replaced everything.

Ok great to know. I was hoping it would be around this much. We are keeping current layout of our bathroom.

I think the price can really vary widely. I did a full gut, removed walls, moved plumbing to the other side of the room and changed the layout. My bathroom is 14x12, so it is big. It cost $40k. But everything was fully custom for me.

That must be a pretty dope bathroom!
I look at the sites mentioned above. I will also look at real estate listings in fancy houses for inspiration.

Exactly. I have a very long, narrow bathroom (15 x 6) that I just had fully redone. Custom vanity was about $4K and changing from tub to walk-in shower added about another $3K and total was about $25K.

it is everything I wanted. My shower is five feet by seven feet. It has a bench and multiple shower heads. The tiles were expensive but exactly what I wanted. One of the two cabinets was seven feet long itself. So if you have larger cabinets, they cost more. I went with an over size jacuzzi tub. The quartz I picked was a higher end one.

Houzz, pinterest (though not super helpful), FB groups, if you have a specific look you're going for you can join a FB group for it and get ideas that way too. And like a pp mentioned I also like to look at real estate listings to get ideas of what other people have done
