What i find interesting is what people find safe vs not safe. When its almost the same thing.
This is where I get lost too. I can see people having different personal levels of comfort, for sure. But when I see people criticizing others for having events and then having similar events themselves, my eyebrows raise.
In my personal life, I see that there is zero consistency when it comes to covid. People lecture about one aspect but go do something “risky”.

I agree. Nothing in the way I think I am protecting myself is rational or consistent. That is why I do not judge others on what they do. If they ask my opinion I will tell them but I don't judge because everyone's thought process is different.
