Medical Insurance for an adult
I am asking for a friend who needs some help-
A friend if mine lost his job, and Colbra is a killer for med benefits (he only collects unemployment)
Does anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive/ basic short term Medical insurance Policies?

This is why your job shouldn’t be tied to your health benefits. Cobra is ridiculously expensive too. Maybe he can check out Medicaid too. I hope he is okay.

What state? He should look at the NY public health exchange option if in NY. I am so sorry for your friend. If he is taking classes, there is also student catastrophic insurance policies that might be an option as well.
