Still here :)
Hope everyone had a nice summer! I like the fall but am not ready for cold winter weather! My parents retired in Florida (and are currently freaking out over the hurricane coming) but my plan is to go down a Lot to escape the winter! I booked a trip in November and am going to check out flights for January...I’m thinking every other month if my DH doesn’t mind...I’m a stay at home dog mom and frontier is soooo reasonable! My round trip ticket for November was $136 (out of islip into west palm)
that sounds nice, stay at home dog mom. I haven't taken a vacation since summer of 2010. Next week I', suppose to go to OK to a friends ranch, but I have a lot going on personally and now not sure I can. I paid $179 for south west non returnable, I can only change the date.
How your parents stay safe. You got a great price!!! have fun and enjoy
ack 2010!? I hope you got away to OK. that really is too long.

I really have no plans. We did some traveling in the spring so now we are just relaxing and enjoying summer. It’s going so fast!!! I am a fall lover though, so no complaints here, especially after this heat wave! Hope everyone is enjoying the sun 
it is going by so fast, how can we slow it down???
ugh this summer literally flew by. but every weekend was a gem. i did a bunch of beach time, down time, family time.
i'm a summer girl so i'm sad to see it go. it's chilly today/tonight. Had my light jacket on.
Happy full moon Friday the 13th all!

Thank you so much! How was the Ranch?! You need and needed a vacation! 9 years is too long to not take a break but I understand if you can’t. It’s nice staying home with my fur baby but some days are super lonely and boring:(
I have some illnesses that prevent me from working anymore...on the days I feel good I try to get out, take the dog to a park or something...I remember you were in the process of moving? How did it go?
I ended up going and came home last night. I took tomorrow monday off, trying to decide if I should not work or work.
Oklahoma is very quiet, the ranch is about 250 acres, very peaceful. Of course its a working ranch so I have pictures of mama cows and babies. 60 head of cattle and horses in training, most are training to be cutting horses, dogs and bulls for the rodeo and one tiny lamb.

That sounds SO nice!!!!! All those animals would be like heaven to me!!!!! I’ve never been to Oklahoma I bet it was beautiful!

about a month ago I remarked somewhere i've never been happier in my life that i'm childfree.
I seriously can't imagine going through this with kids. i give major props to parents at home, doing the online schooling, and doing your job too.
also, i'm worried enough about the elders in my family; with the new illness affecting kids now, i would be bald.
i have my hands full with elder care. i'm more worried about them than myself

I agree, I have my hands full as is. If I had children I'm sure I even you would have made it work.
Every time I go out to the store I come home not feeling well, the mask give me really bad migrains to the point of almost passing out each time
