Correct curtain length?
How much length should be between the floor and the end of the curtain? For one room, I did from ceiling to floor and that worked out fine. The curtain rod is different in that room. I did curtains and got blinds to fit the windows. It also helps with keeping heat in.
In another room, I have tension rods as the curtain rods, so the length is a little different from the other room. Would having the length of 10 inches shorter from the ground be OK, or would it make the room look funny. It’s got very high ceilings. I would go to the floor, but the standard lengths don’t have my size and I would prefer not to get custom made.
ETA: I see I asked this same question 12 years ago .
Also I forgot a small detail in that there are heaters that are the sole source of heat and a window sill. It looks very much like the pic in the link of suggested topics below.

Re: Correct curtain length?
I think they should go to the floor. The other alternative is ordering a longer size and taking them to a local tailor to have them hemmed. That’s what I have done in the past.

Yeah, I have a 9 foot ceiling. A lot of the ones I am finding are too short. Ikea has some that can be hemmed, but I don’t really like any of them for this room.
