Tell Me if I'm wrong
Ok My daughter is really good friends with this little girl at her school.I have never met this little girls Mom.Well today my daughter comes home and tells me not to buy her a halloween costume that her friends mom is bring her one to school tomorrow.I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I just don't like that.I think her mom should have asked me first before telling my daughter that.Now my daughter doesn't want to go shopping with me for her costume.Am I wrong for being upset about this?

I would be a little ticked especially since you have never met the girl's mom.
she should at least ask you first.

Maybe the girls are just making it up. Maybe her mom did not really buy her the costume.
I once had a student carry a bag to school with her pj's and she told me she was sleeping over "so and so" house. Well "so-so" agree to the story but her mom had no clue they were having a slumber party at her house.
When I was in 1st grade I promised my mom's friend my dad would come over and fix their sink. My poor dad had no idea.

Well I talked with the her mom this morning.Turns out her daughter asked her if she could give it to my daughter.its her old one from last year.And she said she told her daughter no because it was to small.My daughter didn't tell me that.
