Anyone have good relationship with ILs?
Lately there have been so many posts about Monster Inlaws and I just wanted to see who had good relationships with their inlaws.
I have a great relationship with my inlaws. They were so supportive during the wedding planning, my pregnancy and now my son. Since I've been home on maternity leave, my FIL calls everyday to see if we need anything. I love my FIL bc he reminds me so much of my grandfather, who I was very close with. My MIL can be annoying bc she can ask a million questions, but DH has taught me how to cut her off before she starts.

I have a great relationship with my inlaws. Every single one of them. From MIL, FIL, SIL's and BIL's and the wifes and husbands.

Me too. My IL's live in Florida so I don't see them that much though.

I will tell you this: JT is the son my parents never had. So even though I don't have a great relationship with his mom(I'm close with his dad, though), JT is extremely tight with my parents

I have the same type of relatiosnship and LOVE them dearly but sometimes being treated like a daughter can be SMOOTHERING.
In the long run they are fantastic people and I wouldn't change any of it for the world

I have WONDERFUL In-laws that I ADORE!! From the first day I met them they treated me as family and even more so like their daughter now.

Sorry, I too have wonderful ILs. DH has an older brother that isn't married and no sisters. Since MIL doeasn't have any daughters or any other DILs, I get to be the daughter she never had. I agree with some of the other posters that it can be slightly smothering sometimes but I absolutely adore them and I am so grateful for what I have.

Mine are great!! They treated me as family since the very beginning.
They can be a bit annoying and DH doesn't have the best relationship w/his dad, and he still gets under DHs skin. I try to act as a buffer.
They don't interfere and ask personal stuff.
They're in their 70's, so they're more like grandparents than in-laws.

I do - though some could say that's because they live in Israel, far enough away that they can't cause TOO much damage I absolutely adore DH's mother and brother, and they were so unbelievably supportive through the wedding process, buying the house, and now when I'm pregnant. His mother is flying over and arriving on my due date to stay with us for the first 3 weeks - god knows I'll need the help!

Overall, my MIL and I have a very good relationship. Minor things bother me and I am sure her but I love her for raising her such a wonderful son, and she said she has never seen him as happy as he is with me.

I do as well. They have some cousins and some other extended family members that are crazy but my DH's family are very good to us, mind their own business, etc. Oh, and they live 2 miles away from us. SIL and BIL are all out of state.
Let me add DH was married before (no kids) and his ex was a nightmare... lied to the family (big lies) and really took advantage... she was wacko! They all said they would have liked me anyway but in light of what they all went through they are very relieved that DH found someone like me.
My MIL told one of her friends upon meeting me for the first time, "We love her already... she's just normal!"
Oh, and we went to a family reunion in CA two weeks ago. I introduced myself as the "newest member" and they all applauded I guess that's a good sign.

My FIL get along great... and my SIL is one of my best friends..

I  my IL's! THey are so good to me and DH. THey know when to stay out of things and are very supportive. I couldn't ask for better IL's!

I have a pretty good relationship with my inlaws...And there are two sets of them.
Sometimes DH's mom can get on my nerves...but it is minor at best

I must say I'm really lucky- my ILs are great. They have been so helpful with out new house-my FIL is over every weekend helping us- with really big jobs like putting in new windows. They only live 15 mins away and we see them all of the time- and enjoy it! I'm really grateful- and lucky!

I love my Inlaws! They are the sweetest people around. Also includes BIL & SIL...Heck, I even LOVE my FSIL..Her and I became Best Friends the moment we met! She's awesome~!
