I used to put pretzels on my sandwiches to make them crunhy...... never heard of pretzels.

DH just made a sandwich of balogna and pretzels!!! I think he's nuts. He tells me that as a child, a lot of people did this, putting chips or pretzels on their sandwiches to make them crunchy. I have never seen anyone do this!
Did you ever do this or know anyone who did?
Your DH is smart - You have to get pretzel rods and wrap it around and then you have an instant meal.

Yup, I still do! I love sourcream and onion chips on my turkey sandwiches.
Me too. Also doritos on a roast beef sandwich.

My husband puts chips in his sandwich AND french fries in his burger...I think he's nuts...he doesnt get to taste the chip or the fries taste on its own...
