Missing My Little Grandma more then ever

On May 4th of this yr, I dreamed of my grandmother handing me a baby wrapped in a pink blanket. So naturally I took a home PG test as soon as I got out of bed that morning...and it was positive.

Since then I have been dreaning of my grandmother reguarly. I feel like she has been a big part of my pregnancy.

My grandmother's name was Mary...and I have a strong desire to name the baby after her...but DH isn't jumping on board...he says that Mary isn't his favorite name. This really hurts me, because our son was named after his grandfather, because it was so important to DH.

DH wants to name the baby Anna...so I compromised and suggested Marianna. I saw how important it was to him to name our son James...why can't he see how important it is to me to honor my grandmother?

keep talking to DH. You agreed to his name. I'm sure he will be willing to compromise especially in light of all of what's been going on with your dreams and your pregnancy.

1st I think it's beautiful that you have such a strong connection to your Grandma like that. It truly is precious!

2nd Have you explained your reasons to DH like you did for us? Maybe he doesnt see it like that.

I am so happy to report that DH and I have decided to name the baby after my grandmother...who's name was Mary.

We choose the name Marianna Rose...(Rose is both my mother and DH's grandmother's name)
