Does anyone know how much airfare would be?....

We are looking to plan our anniversary trip to crete and wanted to also know if you know of any other islands that are close?

if you are going during peak season which is June-september it could be as much as $1,000. It could range between 700 and up. You would have to stop in Athens first before going to Crete.

All the islands are less than an hour from each other. The closest ones to Crete are Rhodes and Cyprus. Crete is one of the bigger islands so you can catch flights from there to the smaller islands otherwise you would have to go back to Athens.

Crete had two airports which are about a 2 hour drive from each other through some very single lane mountain roads. So make sure you land in the one closest to your hotel.

i JUST BOUGHT MY TICKETS TO GO IN JUNE AND I PAID 1200.00 FOR ME AND 1000.00 FOR EACH OF MY KIDS..... iT WAS EXPENSIVE BUT SINCE MY IN-LAWS HAVE 2 HOUSES OVER THERE WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A HOTEL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.... THE ISLAND THAT WE ARE ON IS CALLED LEFKADA AND IT'S AWESOME i WISH I COULD LIVE THERE

There is a reason, imo, and I would never fly them again. I would try other major airlines first.

WHAT PROBLEM DID YOU HAVE WITH OLYMPIC ???? I ALWAYS FLY THEM AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM???

- I wasn't a fan of the free-for-all boarding - it was a stampede to the gate, no distinction between business & coach.
- We were not seated together on the flight home - they put us across the aisle. Which was absurd especially since they knew we were returning from our HM. I was beyond ****** - mostly b/c NO ONE would switch with us so that we could sit together.

It was obviously personal issues but I was told (of course, after we booked & flew) from numerous people who travel to Greece often that they would never fly Olympic for similar reasons

Olympic doesnt have the greatest reputation...I have to agree with you. However, it is usually less expensive than other airlines for a non-stop flight to greece.
