Re: what is IUI??
RE = reproductive endocrinologist (doctor specializing in infertility issues)
IUI = intra-uterine insemination (injecting sperm into the uterus at the right time)

Re: what is IUI??
Yep IUI is a form of artificial insemination and a Reproductive Endochronologist (RE) is a Dr. who specializes in infertility issues.

Re: what is IUI??
I had the same question. That's what I thought it was but wasn't sure.

is IUI covered by insurance??
It depends on your coverage.
Mine is covered, but I have a very good open access plan that covers just about everything!!
I know some girls here have been paying out of pocket.

is IUI covered by insurance??
My insurance covers up to $10,000 for IUI procedures. We did 2 IUI cycles so I would guess we used about $3,000 of our coverage, which includes the testing and SA for DH too.
