basal thermometers?
What brand does everyone use.
I use the BD brand and I swear it stinks.

I have a Vicks BT, got it at Target for about $5.99. So far it is fine...

I think mine is the BD brand - Its the Eckerd brand and I bought it at Eckerd. I had the CVS one but that one took so soooo long to register a final temp.

I've used two BD ones. One is the basic white one, and the battery seemed to die pretty quickly. I just switched to the "special" TTC purplish one, and we'll see what that's like. Last night, I took my temp using both BDs, and they were consistent. We also have a Vicks, but it always gives me extremely low temps (although what matters for charting is the change, not the absolute number).

I can never find the Basal thermometeres in the drugstores around me...
I'll have to look at Walgreens AGAIN tonight- last time I went they were out.

I hated the CVS one. Many ladies here recommended the DB BASAL and I love this one!

Temps are accurate but it takes a looooong time to get a final temp.
I never noticed until recently. I used to fall asleep after I put the thermometer in my mouth, but lately I haven't and it seems to take about 3-4 minutes to read a temp
