Place for baby shower in Nassau County ? closer to queens/nassau border ?
What some nice quaint places to have a baby shower luncheon/brunch or tea time ?
20 women + 8 little girls.
Has anyone been to the Carltun for a baby shower ?
closer to queens/nassau border, pls..

Trinity in Floral Park had great food & they are very reasonably priced. Also Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City.

Here's the link to the Milleridge Inn, they have a lot of different size rooms. I had my bridal shower in the Director's Room. I though the food was delicious.

My rehearsal dinner was at jack duggan's in floral park - and my baby shower will be there at the end of March. You get the entire upstairs, which is a dining room (brick walls, fireplace) and there is another room that is connected (there is no wall between them, but the bar is between them - where the women can sit and you can open presents. Price is reasonable and I think the food is great. They do buffet or sit down. We had around 27 or so at our rehearsal dinner and will have around 35 at the shower.
It's down the street from LIRR and is right at the nassau/queens border. I'd highly recommend it.
they have a website - just go on google and look for jack duggan's in floral park - they have menus, pictures, etc.

I would recommend Davenport Press in Mineola. You should also check out the Inn at New Hyde Park.

I second Trinity. I had my bridal shower there- and it was awesome! The food is great and its sooo reasonable!

There is a cute little italian restaurant in Douglaston called "Giordanos" the food is really delicious, and it's small and would probably accomodate your party. Good Luck!

We had our son's Christening party at Main 415 in Port Washington. It was right on the water and an incredible restaurant.

I went to a bridal shower at Davenport Press in Mineola and it was wonderful. I am sure they have a similar baby shower package as well.

If you are looking for a place with really good food - check out - West End Cafe and Waterzooi. One is in Garden City the other is in Carle Place.

I had my christening at
Buongusto in Roselyn
It was very nice.
I also just had a 30th birthday party for my husband at Cafe Formaggio in Carle Place. They did a great job too.

my bridal shower was here and the food was really good.
We had our rehearsal dinner there. Food and service were great. It's owned by the same person who owns Russo's on the Bay.
