Atlantis in the Bahamas
I am heading there and wondering what the restaurants are like and if there are any favorites. I do have a few reservations so I don't get stuck. I am eating at Carmines the first night and the next few nights they are closed. Also, what did you wear at night?
Thanks..
Cindy

Re: Atlantis in the Bahamas
Hi We were there in October, did the gourmet meal plan which included all the fine restuarants. The following were ALL good: Bahamian Club (white glove service) Fathoms (surrounded by giant fish tank) Seafires (steakhouse) Venetian something or other (I forget the name)
I always wore a dress (not very fancy), but I like to dress up. DH wore nice pants & a colllared shirt. Can't remember if any place required jackets, but he brought one just in case. Some people dressed more casual, but you can check the website or call the concierge when you're there. We had a baby w/ us too!
Carmine's is like the place in NYC, family-style Italian. We didn't eat there b/c we wanted to try something different, I'm sure it's good though! Have fun!

Re: Atlantis in the Bahamas
Hi I was just in Atlantis this past January.
We ate at Carmines, Nobu and the SeaFire. All three were excellent but Nobu was by far the best. I wore slacks and nice tanktops every night and my husband wore jeans and nice button down shrits. I think Nobu dress code for guys said slacks and botton down shirts but I saw men in there with shorts on, so I'd say that they really don't enforce the dress code too much. Have a great time.
