freezing fresh basil
I chopped up some fresh basil put it in ice cube trays added water and froze. When I used it today to cook, i defrosted the basil cubes in a strainer. I thought it tasted great for being frozen! Anyway it took me years to figure this out...
What are your methods of freezing fresh basil?

Ice cube trays or just a bunch in plastic ziploc bags.

I put mine in a plastic zip lock, it has that fresh taste
