Alaskan Cruise

DH and I are going on cruise to Alaska in June. Any suggestions on "must-see/must-do" excursions while we're there?

Itinerary (for excursions) includes:
Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan

We did this last year. Keep in mind, June might still be a little chilly. We went the first week of June and it was rather cold:

What we did on excursions:

Juneau - Whale Watch

Skagway - nature hike/canoe trip to Davidson Glacier - AWESOME!

Ketchikan - We were only in port for a few hours, so we did this Eagle Watch thing which was pretty cool, but it was cold and rainy that day.

I know in Juneau, many people opt to go on the helicopter rides that land on the glacier, or do the dog sledding.

In Skagway, there is a train ride through the White Pass Mountains which we heard was pretty good.

Are you going on Royal Caribbean? I went two years ago and LOVED it.

In Skagway we took the train ride and it was amazing, this was through the cruise.

In Juneau, there are about a million buses that will take you the the Glacier, we hopped one for $5 each and took that up and explored on our own.

You are only in Ketchkian for half a day, we just shopped and had lunch at a restaurant right near the pier.

ETA: We were gone from June 17th-27th and it was actually quite warm on the second half of the trip. We all went to the pool and sat out on the deck on the afternoon that we left Ketchkian.

i know kerrycec went and did the dog sledding; she said it was amazing. i would put that on my must to-do list
