Shih Tzu
What kind of food do you ladies feed your Shih Tzu? I want to speak to my vet to make sure that the kind i'm giving him is good.

My grandfather & his wife feed Merrick. I think it is something "salmon" which has more omega-3 for healthy coat....

Beneful -they have a healthy coat one
We tried switching to a more natural/organic food-and he hated it and refused to eat- would put it in his mouth and would spit it out-when we mixed his old food with his new food he would eat around the new food- so back to beneful

Yeah he does lol...such a little personality! I had to laugh when I saw little nuggets all over the kitchen floor and then saw him spit them out!  I couldn't believe he did it

We have to switch the food once a bag is done because Molly gets bored very easily and will refuse to eat for days.
We now give her beneful dry food - with a teaspoon on the beneful wet food mixed in. We've only been using this a few weeks now but thankfully she has been eating up the entire bowl!

I have been feeding my shih-tzu ProPac for the past year. I buy it at Pets discount warehouse in Lindenhurst.
