Night screaming
Does anyone else's baby do this? Jesse is 4 1/2 months old and will scream like a banshee in the middle of the night for what appears to be no reason. Most of the time he doesn't even wake up. I don't think he could be having nightmares already, could he? It usually doesn't last long - maybe a minute. I was thinking maybe it's during his light sleep and he is teething? I really don't know what else it could be.

Re: Night screaming
My son is 3 1/2 months and he has done this since he was 2 1/2 months, I just thought he was having a dream or nightmare. One time after he screamed I was standing in the room and he woke up and seemed confused for a few minutes, like he just woke from a dream. I wouldn't worry about it unless he does it a lot and/or it wakes him up.

Re: Night screaming
It usually doesn't wake him up and doesn't happen too often (maybe a couple times per week). I guess I'll mention it to the doctor on his next visit if he's still doing this, just to be sure it's nothing to be concerned about.
