Spotting (TMI??)
Hi Guys! I woke up this am and had some pink spotting. I am 6 weeks as of today. I'm very nervous because I had an ectopic when I was 18 and they had to remove my left fallopian tube. My 1st prenatal appointment is May 9th!!! I'm so scared that I have an ectopic again. I dont have regular health insurance and I have applied for PCAP. I dont know what to do!!! ANy suggestions

Re: Spotting (TMI??)
Are you having any cramping? Are you spotting alot? What about a local clinic in your area. Try to keep off of your feet but I would def call a doctor to see what is going on. Good Luck!!!

Re: Spotting (TMI??)
I wouldn't worry unless its clearly red blood coming out. A small amount of pink or brown could still be implantation of the placenta. I had a few days of pink, but mostly brown spotting every day from week 4 - week 8. Dr. said it's implantation. Still call your Dr. and see what they want you to do, but don't worry!

Re: Spotting (TMI??)
I agree that spotting can bbe normal. I would definitely speak with the dr's office you made the May appointment with. Oherwise,as someone else suggested see f there is a local clinic that can help you out.

Re: Spotting (TMI??)
I don't have any advice on the spotting but I wanted to say that it doesn't matter if you don't have regular ins. Don't let that stop you from going to the dr as soon as you need to. They can work out the billing issues later.
ETA: Planned Parenthood has all kinds of income-based plans if you don't qualify for medicaid.

Spotting can be common & it can be many things, but really only a Dr can tell you for sure.
