I'm going to be a godmother this october, i'm buying the bab a cross, her baptismal outfit, and then i'll put some $ in her card.

My family tradition is the godfather buys the cross and godmother buys the baptismal outfit. Other gifts savings bonds, a ring, a id bracelet.

usually the godmother buys the outfit the godfather buys the chain and cross. If you want to get o ther gifts you can do savings bond, jewelry, clothes, even gift certificates or money.
