MAth Teachers - Sillly Question
If I were ever to decide to become a math teacher - would I have use for my high school math notebooks? If I wasn't a math major, do I repeat basic precalc and trig, etc. when I go for my masters?

Re: MAth Teachers - Sillly Question
I don't think there is a need for your high school math notebooks. The classes you took in HS may vary from what you wil be teaching. Textbooks are good, but I really don't see the need for notebooks. Besides there is so much great stuff out there now.
I have a business undergrad and then went for my masters in secondary math ed.
In order to get certified I had to take 36 credits of math. Everything from the basics, to some electives, to calc.
For my master's I had to take 9 credits of graduate level math.
