Unbelievable!!!
yesterday, i got an unmistakable positive on a FRER test, then took an answer test and nothing.....i tested again today - nothing...and i am starting AF...
i can not believe how unreliable those tests are!!!!.....i test SO MUCH that it is embarrassing (about three times a day from 9do on) so i consider myself a bit of an expert on how these tests look (evaporation lines and all)....but THIS FRER was definitely a positive....
i know other girls have complained about this on prior posts so i am just echoing but geeez, how discouraging!!!!...i will NEVER use that test again!!!
early testers like myself - BEWARE!!!!
P.S. and i doubt that it was a chemical because i tested 3 hours prior and 3 hours after and all were negative except for that particular stick....i am DEFINITELY writing the company!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. As if it's not bad enough always getting a negative but to get a positive and it not be correct is so not right. I though FRER was supposed to be one of the better tests.

THAT SSUCKS!!!! Are you sure its AF? Maybe the first and third tests were diluted? I can only imagine how often you are feeling.

I thought they were getting better 
I got a great false positive on MOTHERS DAY! I was sooo excited it was Mothers Day and I got a BFP..when I looked at the test like 10 minutes later, BOOM its gone....I could have killed someone!!
So sorry this happened, its very disappointing!

FRER is probably the 'worst' test on the market. I purchased them once and refuse to again. I am so sorry about this confusion you are having, however, did the pink line "last" or did it disappear ? Did you use another Frer test ? Or did you move on to answer ? Frer is supposedly more sensitive than answer, however they also have disappearing lines.

I did write to them, so did Kathy after hers...they send you coupons and a coupon for a free OPK or HPT test box...

Ugh, this happened to me!
I even put in a call to my clinic and then went back to look at the test again, and the line was gone!!!! I did some quick research (thank G-d for the internet), and realized it was a false positive 
Very embarrassing to have to call the clinic back and tell them it was a mistake, not to mention DH and I's heartbreaking disappointment.

Yes I wrote to them and they sent me a few coupons...one was for a free HPT or OPK up to $34 value. I used it to buy more HPTs (I'm an addict, remember) but you can use them for the OPKs too - which I loved. They also sent me a few coupons for $1.00 off tests and OPKs.
