IVF and high FSH level
Hello,
I am new to this and thought it would be a good idea to hear other couples stories. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrosis. I did 2 rounds of IUI. I am going to start IVF but I was told my FSH went from 7 to 16 in 8 months. I am very scared my body won't respond to the IVf medications. If anyone has experienced elevated FSH and had success with IVf please let me know.

My FSH is quite high, I have tested 11 & 12, you can do wheatgrass shots to lower it. I just did my 2nd round of IVF and got my BFP on Monday! I would test high one month and then have low for a few months, although most RE's go on the highest # you test. My day 3 before this IVF was 9 something. Good luck

I have a organic juice bar near me so that is where I went, but I think you can order it on-line, but I don't know any exact websites, maybe try google? Sorry I can't help more. If you have a health food store near you ask in there, I did the fresh shots, but you can get it frozen, it tastes foul !

she is talking shot like a shot of alcohol, not an injection.
Although from what I have heard after you taste it you might wish it came in an injetcion.
BUt it works! Cat is proof!

If you have endo you may want to see Dr. Toth in NYC-he does not take insurance but will submit for reimbursement for you. His website is

he believes endo and high fsh can be caused by infection. Infection can damage your ovaries and cut off blood supply thereby causing high fsh. FSH is the hormone put out by your pituitary gland to make the ovaries produce an egg. The less well your ovaries work the higher your fsh is. This can, according to him, be fixed with antibiotic therapy
