Worried - I have a sinus infection and 99% sure I have strep
I dont know what to do. My doctor isnt open until Monday and I have to work. Should I go to a walk-in place? I need something - Im realy worried about the infection being spread to the baby.
What should I do?

I would call the Dr's office and they will page the on call Dr and they can tell you what to do. I used to do that a lot when I was PG because my drs office hrs stunk/ They would normally call something in. Theres a lot more you can take when PG then you would think there is. Theres a TON of class A and B meds that are safe to take while PG.

don't worry, i was really sick twice with a sinus infection while i was preggo, they will put you on something safe for the baby. this is not something that can harm the baby, it is nasal.

Call his office and the service will just have him paged. He can call in a prescription for you to the pharmacy. Just have the number handy when you speak to him.

When I was pregnant I had a UTI in the early months and was put on antibiotics for a week. There are certain ones that are safe for the baby..
page your doctor.. they will get back too you ...I would not wait until Monday.

When I was around 13 weeks I had strep and an ear infection. They put me on amoxicillin (it is safe doe pregnant woman) and told me to rest. They also recommended ricolla drops.

Thank you for all of your answers!
I gave in and went to the walk inplace, the doctor was very nice and very careful with what he gave me since Im PG.
I do have strep and I do have a sinus infection. So he gave me a nasal spray for the sinus infection - which is safe for me and he gave me Zpac (which is Zithromax but safe for PG women) too.
I took my first dose of each about a half hr ago so hopefully it will start working by tomorrow....I hope!!!
