Frustrated and don't know what to do

I recently changed schools and my new school is literally a new school. Construction was supposed to be finished by 7/5...it's 8/1 and still no word as to when we can get in. I'm in Fl, so school starts earlier. We have preplanning 8/13 - 8/17 and the kids start 8/20. I have atleast 15 boxes in my garage from files to posters to games that I've accumulated over the last 5 years. I planned on brining the stuff from my garage to the new school so that I could get my son's nursery ready before school started...looks like that's not going to happen.

I am so frustrated. The principal doesn't have a date yet as to when we can get in. I have no clue what my room looks like, what type of furniture or supplies they have ordered nor do I know if the supplies they've ordered have come in yet.

I know we're going to meet a lot during preplanning to establish a school culture, rituals and routines, expectations, etc...it's so stressful!!

i see how fustrating it can be. i'm sure its going to be crazy during pre-school but I'm sure you will get it all done!!

and just remember you're not Alone. ALL the teachers and staff are dealing with this too so you will have an understanding and supportive environment!

thanks ladies. i know that everyone is going through this stress, so that makes it a little easier...the only issue is that my doc told me not to lift any heavy items b/c my ab muscles separated during the preg (he says its common) so my husb has to take time off to bring the supplies to school - I feel helpless, I thought I could bring a box or two at a time, but he'll need to take at least 1/2 day off to take a few trips to get everything in at one shot b/c of the time crunch. oh well...its a wait and see....
