The Classics

I have read some of these in school, and some once I was out of school which were never assigned. Which classics are your favorites? They can be modern classics too, like the types of books that are assigned to students.

Looking for some ideas to add to my reading list. Chat Icon

Re: The Classics

My father was a reading tyrant. We always had a book assigned to us.

My favorite is Moby ****. I was 12 when I read it first, then reread it at 20. I think it is the most visual book.

I also loved David Copperfield.

But my ultimate read ever is A Wrinkle in Time.

Re: The Classics

I never really had to read any classics - only a few and they weren't the "good" ones. I've always thought of reading them also.

Anne of Green Gables.

I loved The Great Gatsby

I predict that Holes by Louis Sachar will be a classic some day. That was a phenomenal YA book.
