Pulled pork??
I need a really simple recipe for pulled pork with not too many ingredients. (This BBQ is costing me a fortune.) I want to make it for a BBQ on Saturday. I would love to make it in advance. Can I make it the day before and then reheat the day of the party in the crockpot?

Re: Pulled pork??
I usually make it the day of, but you can probably make it the day before. Whenever I reheat it on Day 2 - it always tastes just as good as Day 1! Just make sure you have a little extra BBQ Sauce on hand.
Boneless Pork Loin 1/4 cup of water salt and pepper lightly barbecue sauce
PREPARATION: Place the meat in the slow cooker with water, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Tun to LOW and cook 7 to 9 hours longer, until very tender. Remove roast and discard fat and juices.
Chop or shred the pork (I just use a fork); return to slow cooker. Mix a little barbecue sauce into the meat for flavor - I just do it to taste because my DH doesn't like a TON of BBQ sauce. Cook for about 1 hour longer, until hot. Serve on warm split sandwich buns with coleslaw and extra barbecue sauce on the side.
DELISH and EASY!
ETA: I love Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce for this dish. It isn't too sweet / tangy.

I do the same thing, even with Sweet Baby Ray's, except I never did it w/ water. Just dump a bottle of BBQ sauce into a crockpot w/ the pork loin and cook for a few hours, shred w/ fork.

Re: Pulled pork??
i make mine in the crock too...
4- 4 1/2 pound pork shoulder 1/3 cup of jalapeno slices (the pickeled ones) 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar 1/3 cup of apple juice 1/2 cup BBQ sauce- something sort of plain. 1 onion chopped 3 cloves garlic chopped.
lay onion & garlic on bottom of crock. put the pork on top and then pour in rest of ingredients. cook on low 10 hours.
