Does anyone else not really share their weight loss?
Because my scale has been going down so slowly, I tend to not broadcast (even to DH) when I lose a pound or two-- even if I am totally excited inside. I have had some fluctuations within a .5 lbs or so over the last couple of weeks-- so, I don't always trust the scale, etc.
Like I want to say--- I LOST X LBS!!! WOO HOO!!! But, I feel like it's not real... and the second I say something, the scale will go back up that .5 lbs.
I have actually been biding my time waiting for the scale to move a couple of pounds all at once, since I have been working really hard at it, and while the scale hasn't moved-- I am really starting to see changes in my body.
Anyone else do this??? Or am I the only freak.

I do this!
The scale usually fluctuates 2 pounds or so with me. Unless I lose about 5 pounds, I don't really mention my weight loss to anyone (even DH).

I tell people when I have a big loss. But, I never watched closely enough to notices a 1/2 lb difference. If that was all I fluctuated, I would be estatic

I completely understand your thinking (see previous post re: water weight. )
I get all excited in my head, but dont actually verbalize it until it is like five pounds...or until someone says, " Oh, you look like you are losing weight!" and then I am all about, " Oh yes, I lost 1.2 pounds", which always sounds so dorky!
