Need a vacation spot
DH and I would like to take a vacation in October for our anniversary but we have no idea where to go. We are the type of people that like to be active and do lots of things while on vacation. We are afraid of the hurricanes, so we would like to stay away from the Caribbean. And, we've been to Disney together 5 times so that is out. Any suggestions?

Costa Rica hands down! DH and I went in June and of all the places we have traveled, CR was by far our most favorite vacation.
DH is dying to go back and is bugging me non stop about going in November

i don't know exactly what you're into but these are on our vacay wish list:
california - DH and I recently talked about doing a drive up from San Diego to LA and San Francisco. We were talking about stopping at the different ball parks but there's tons of sightseeing without that. plus there's disneyland, fun for a day.
vegas with a trip to the grand canyon
seatle to vancouver and alaska
northeastern canada - toronto, montreal, etc.
what about the western side of mexico - less likely to be hit by hurricanes no?

I would say go somewhere you can see the beautiful fall foilage. Mayber Vermont, Poconos, or somewhere like that.

We went to Vegas for our one year and loved it so much! I highly recommend it! You can't get bored there!
