 If you are talking about divorce, my mom said she knew it was time to get divorced because she would rather be alone than be with my dad. And I think when it's like that, you know everything that will come will only be better.

Sure does! A year ago my outlook was bleak, I was undergoing Chemo already and about to start massive doses of radiation.
There were times I couldn't get out of bed nor could I feed myself. A year later, I am still fighting the disease, but I am here, enjoying everyday with my DH, DS, family and friends.

I'm not familiar with your situation, but I absolutely believe that everything happens for a reason. We might not know what it is yet, but we have to trust that it's best.
