sideswept bangs
OK my bangs are cut long so that I can sweep them to the side, but they are always in my eyes. How do I get them to look like the celebreties do and keep them from falling in my face?
Like this (minus the wind swept look, lol)

Re: sideswept bangs
do you have a small round brush to blow them out? I have side swept bangs too, and when I don't have them bobby pinned down and tucked (i'm lazy), I use a small round brush and work them over to the side more...

Re: sideswept bangs
I use a round brush to blow dry mine out and then I do one of two things
either
a) spray some hairspray on the tips of my fingers and then glide them through the bangs
or
b) use a texturizng pomade like a hair wax and do the same.

Re: sideswept bangs
I use a flat paddle brush and pull the hair straight down.
Then I get a flat iron and iron it to the side I want.
I put a TINY bit of soy paste on them and they stay side swept the whole day.

Re: sideswept bangs
I have a long version and I blow the bangs out with a medium roung brush holding the brush straight across my forehead area and the bangs as if I were going to wear them into my face. Then I roll the brush out, still blowing, and PULL the hair to the side and spray with a little hairspray.

Re: sideswept bangs
I use a large round brush... I blow dry them down first and then to the side and use a little bit of light hairspray . They never get hard as long as you don't use that much product!!

Re: sideswept bangs
you have to blow them out a certain way.
dont hold the barrel of the round brush under the lock of hair - place it ontop of the hair and blow under at the root to make a lift and than gradually drag your brush to the side. it will help the bang fall that way.
good luck!
