Deceptively Delicious cookbook
I bought this cookbook yesterday. Its by Jessica Sienfeld, it was showed on Oprah on Monday. Has anyone tried these recipes? They use vegetable purees to add nutrition to regular meals. I tried the chicken nugget recipe (I made chicken cutlets). It adds pureed spinach to the egg you dip the chicken in, and add Flaxseed to the breadcrumbs. Anyway, these were the BEST chicken cutlets I have ever made.
I also tried the couscous recipe, which adds summer squash and carrot puree to the water you cook the couscous in. It was really good.
I cant wait to try more recipes.
Just wanted to share.

I haven't bought it yet, but I plan too! Everything looked so good! Where did you get yours from? I am thinking of heading to Barnes and Nobles since I have a coupon...

I got it at B&N on wednesday, it was 20 % off.
Ive tried 2 recipes and both were really good.

I made the Peanut Butter and Banana Muffins for my kids and they LOVED them... also made the meatloaf, mac & cheese and french toast ALL were excellent

DH is anti-fruits and vegetables, so this is a great idea!
