Back from Newport - Mini Review
DH and I went to Newport, RI last weekend for our first anniversary. We stayed at the Francis Malbone House right in town. We had a great time (even though the weather on Sat was horrible) and definitely want to go back. It was off-season for the area, which made it rather quiet - perfect for us.
We had dinner at 22 Bowen and lunch at The Black Pearl. Both were very good, but pricey. Breakfast at the Malbone house was yummy. We didn't get a chance to taste their afternoon snacks but they sure looked delicious!
If you want to check out a few pics, they are in my album.

I stayed at the Francis Malbone House too a few years ago. It was gorgeous! We also ate at the Black Pearl and 22 Bowen (I still have the box of matches from there). It sounds like you had as good a time as we did. I'd love to go back and do the sunset cruise.

I did not know about a sunset cruise. I guess it's only offered in the warmer months? I would LOVE to do that too!

LOL, we also ate at 22 Bowen and the Black Pearl when in Newport. 22 Bowen was amazing, the best steak I have ever had.
