Hotels In NYC
Can you post your favorite hotels in NYC? My Dh and I are looking to do a weekend stay in the city and would like to stay at a very decent hotel there. We ware planning on Next Friday through Sunday. Thanks!

I loved the W in Times Square.
I would check availability. From what we're hearing from our out of town employees looking for rooms, NY seems to be sold out or EXTREMELY expensive for the rest of the year.

Soho and Tribeca Grand Hotels are great, have stayed there multiple times. I tend to stay away from Times Square b/c of the touristy feel. Even when i lived in Manhattan for 8 years, we would go to other neighborhoods and stay in the hotels for a great weekend.

Westin Times Square (rooms are large for NYC)
W Union Square
Le Meridien
NYC is really compressed from now until the end of the year. The days that you may get better rates are from 12/25-29. We get the highest rates of the year during this season and it makes or breaks our year. (I am in the hotel business).
