What else should I serve with Lasagna?
We are hosting Xmas Day at our house and will have around 20 ppl. We decided to do lasagna, but what else should I serve with it? We'll have meatballs and sausage as well, but should I also cook a roast beef? Or should I stick to italian and make eggplant rolitini or something like that?

On christmas day, lasagna is a first dish, not the main meal. We usually have a ham and nine other million things.

I would do a roast of some sort - for those that are going carb light... and for those who don't love italian foods. Variety is the spice of life!
Maybe a Honey Baked ham? Those are really easy. I would probably do the lasagna, a ham and a fish soup to start.

filet mignon with mushroom and wine sauce
and side dishes... not sure what though

We always do an italian dish for a 1st course (lasagna, ziti, penne a la vodka) and than we make a ham or turkey and the sides for the 2nd course.

if this helps, for Thanksgiving I made a turkey and a prime rib. Came out awesome. Went to Ivarrone for the meat and beforehand served antipasto.
