Health Lesson ideas
Hi! I need some ideas for a health lesson for 5th graders. . . . I was tihnking something on sleep or self-esteem. (Family life and all that good stuff is later on in the year).
Any ideas and/or fun activities???? I don't usually teach health so I need some help!

The health teacher in my school did this whole bunch of lessons on "think breakfast" it was centered around this rap she found in a book.
the kids loved it....but i personally think its cheesy...well maybe the video i saw on you tube is cheesy

Lesson done, so don't need anything...
Ended up doing a lesson on sleep... Found two great websites:

think breakfast is a state program. i get the whole program every year--it's totally free!
